Ful Medames is a recipe that I learnt from a Nubian Chef whilst in Aswan ,Egypt. It is a popular North African dish which is very wholesome and often served at breakfast but can be eaten as a main meal accompanied with flat breads, humus, tahini and harissa sauce. The beans used are Fava Beans which have a thick skin and deep, creamy center.
